Island Willow Kisheen Willow Basket

A Heritage Irish Basket with tapered opening said to have kept the contents safe during an ardous journey on foot, climbing stone walls, and across fields to deliver lunch to hungry workers.

We are 2 basket makers and willow growers based in South East Wexford trained with a member of the Irish Professional Basket Makers.

We grow approximately 20 varieties of willow.  Our products are made from our own organically grown willow.

The Willow is soaked in water prior to it being worked with.  There is nothing artificial used on any of our products.
